The Bedtime Story {Plot}
Gotham City is in the midst of utter and complete turmoil, even more then it once was as hard as that is to believe. The citizens of the dark city have been rather uneasy about their new guardian, the vigilantly Batman, but have been fine with simply letting him clean the city streets of the scum that has infested it.

But now there is an even bigger threat slinking around the underbelly of the chaotic city, someone that seems to have appeared out of a child's worst nightmare. He's a murderous sociopath with a permanent grin disfiguring his face and he's out to set the world on fire just to watch it burn.

All the while the city higher ups are trying their hardest to keep their beloved city from falling completely into the hands of the crooks that inhabit it and the new threat that has taken it upon himself to create as much chaos as he can.

Here's the chance to find out just who you are and what you're made of. Are you a vigilante? A crooked cop? A thug? Or the last of the honorable men in the city? It's time to show what your true colors are, when the night falls in Gotham.

News Flash
Some canon characters are still open

We're gonna need some GOOD GUYS soon before we're completely swamped by Villains

Be wary of Batman, he hasn't gotten his rabies shot yet

The clown prince of crime watched the girl with a sick fascination as she played with her little toys, finding it a rather fun thing to watch, hell it was even better then television, after all the tv tended to lie to people. Plus having a front row seat to a murder just looked so much better in person then on a screen, the images were better, clearer, more vibrant. When watching tv one really didn't get the actual lovely crimson color of blood, the way it flecked on a persons pasty white skin, or the look of fear shinning in their eyes.

Not only was the picture quality so much better, but the sound, oh no sound was missed when some one was there in person to hear it. Every scream, the sound of his organs slapping wetly on the ground as they unraveled like a pretty string from the man's abdomen, the soft groans and pleas for help that escaped and the soft 'drip drip' of the blood that leaked from his prone form.

And better yet was that it seemed to be that his newest addition to his little gang was more capable then she first appeared to be as a good killer. It seemed that she was just as creative as he could have hoped for, which was always a real bonus in this line of 'work' especially when the boss was the type that would kill you if you didn't impress him enough, or just if he got bored with you. Yes this meant that she might just be able to make it on his team for a good long while.

Looking back over at the scene he clapped his hands together, "Bravo, bravo," He hissed out with a smirk on his face and licked at his red painted lips as he inspected the scene with an appreciative eye. Of course the Joker would be the type to appreciate the grotesque scene before him as if it were some sort of macabre piece of artwork, "Looks like your just the girl for the job, congrats kid,"

Clasping his purple leather clad hands behind his back the man smirked at her, now all that was left was that she needed to met Harley and the others. Not that he cared what anyone else thought on the matter, but it was just the fact that it would be easier to get along with his plans if everyone else had already met her, "Come on then, it's about time we take our leave of the place," Before cops showed up or any other such menace decided to show themselves and ruin there fun.

Twirling again his coat billowed out in a curtain of purple behind him and he started to walk off into the shadows once again, his footsteps as silent as the death that he brought to others. Moving through the darkness that settled between the spots of light provided by the lamps, already bored with the place he decided that the place had been used for all it could be and that it wouldn't be very much longer until the dead guards were discovered and other cops would swarm the area, and he felt he had better things to do then to deal with that particular mess.

Turning his head he gave the girl a look, "You'd had better keep pace," Joker warned of the other girl, he didn't have any more time to waste, or was it just that he no longer felt like wasting time? Which ever it was though it would do her well to keep up, if not then he'd probably be forced to terminate their little job 'contract' which would be bad for her health. No matter how good she could prove to be for his happy little gang the deranged man couldn't afford to have stragglers in his group, that would be very bad for business.

{{Sorry this took so long to get out}}

Prayer had almost forgotten about him, standing in the darkness a mere few meters from her. She was so wrapped up in the comfort blanket of blood that was washing itself around her toes. Mesmerized, almost, by the gorgeously slick liquid, wiggling her toes, rubbing them together, enjoying the slick feeling as they squeezed together, pressing the liquid inbetween them, smiling sickly down at the digits as they squirmed in their red casing.

Then the voice floated across to her, and it all came flooding back, along with the memories and the feelings of being a victim. But that was momentary, the resistance of her own self will being more than what the memories could even imagine to be. Her head rolled in a large circle, neck allowing the movement with little more than a silent crack. The bravo that was uttered toward her was heard limply, her ears felt like they were full of cotton wool, eyes becoming hazy and distant as she slipped in and out of the pleasurable state that came so quickly after her kills.

"Kid?"
She questioned, her voice sounding faraway and almost childlike as she turned on her heel, examining the long-coated man with a look that had changed from those that were so adoring from before. Her eyes glazed, brow dipping into a faint frown. He spoke about leaving, but she stood her ground, glancing back down at the already stiffening bodies of her kills, bending down to check the man's warm forehead as if checking for a fever.

"Goodnight."
She whispered softly to the corpse, the lust between her legs igniting once more as she flitted to her feet, gaze clearing a little as she returned her eyes to the living man's, smiling softly toward him and taking a slow, unwilling step. She knew, silently where she was going. But it was the question if she wanted to go. If she could hold her ground infront of the one woman that possessed everything she had been trying for since she got to this city. That would be her true trial.

She watched the quickly moving away figure that she adored, letting him take a few more steps before she advanced upon him, fleeting through the light spots without much of a care, even though that figure seemed to be avoiding them. It would only be her that would be found. She knew that now. Despite the idea of a 'team', with them all banded together, she knew he would be gone quicker than a common cold. She was terribly awake, her whole body racing as she began to pick up the pace, her body moving upon her tiptoes and beginning to dance into the darkness.

Keep pace.
It seemed like a warning, but she seemed unphased, still managing to catch up to him and dance a small circle about him without even letting a breath get out of place, or a bead of sweat work its way to her forehead.
"Where to?"
The girl asked simply, dancing more circles about him, ignoring the violence that hung in the air like a mist, entwining the two figures.
